Overview
Tokyo Digital led the UX and design overhaul for Warehouse, a British fashion retailer undergoing major transition. The project focused on improving mobile experience, boosting community engagement, and aligning the brand with Boohoo’s digital-first approach following its 2020 acquisition.
Challenge
Warehouse was facing financial strain and needed to pivot fast. The brand had to retain its identity while being absorbed into Boohoo’s high-performing e-commerce model. The existing digital experience lacked mobile optimisation, clear social integration, and tools for engaging a younger, socially active audience.
Solution
We redesigned Warehouse’s platform with a mobile-first focus and intuitive user experience. Social media integration was central — we added features to support content sharing and user-generated posts. This helped foster a community around the brand. We also supported digital marketing with analytics-driven campaign tools. The result was a refreshed, socially connected e-commerce platform ready for a global audience under Boohoo’s leadership.
